Zambia is a landlocked country in southern Africa between the Democratic Republic of Congo to the north, Angola to the west, Zimbabwe to the south and Tanzania, Malawi and Mozambique to the east. The country remains to this day one of Africa's most unspoilt sanctuaries, a kind of hidden treasure of the continent, where the human footprint is nowhere to be seen.
